Virtual Paint n Sip with Rebecca Battoe of Kaleidoscopeartkreations
FREE (participants must provide their own supplies and "sip")
Join Rebecca of Kaleidoscopeartkreations for a VIRTUAL painting class.
Rebecca is an artist at Kaleidoscopeartkreations, a woman-owned business based out of Liverpool N.Y.
Rebecca has been developing her classes with the assistance of the Women's Oppotunity Center, and would like to share her FIRST virtual paint and sip experience with WOC clients and colleagues.
Paint and Sip Classes are fun, unique experiences with a lively social atmosphere.
A two hour gathering will be enough to finish your own painting on canvas. I will provide guidance to complete a painting. The design will be sketched on your canvas so all you need to do is paint! There are no “ rules” here. You have complete freedom to make your work uniquely yours. Feel free to change colors, add new elements , or transform the painting entirely. Whether you've never picked up a brush before or are an experienced painter, your creativity is your only limit.
You will need to buy your own supplies, and provide your own "sip"
All supplies are listed below, with links to Michael's Craft Store in case you need an idea of where to purchase them.
The Process:
After you have gathered your supplies and taken your seat we will begin with introductions. Then you will transfer the drawing provided, that you will need to print, to your canvas. Its a sketch of a bunny within daffodils. You will apply charcoal to the back of the design, being careful not to get charcoal all over. Then you will put the design over the canvas , design side up. With a # 2 pencil trace the lines with a medium pressure. You may want to tape the design to your canvas. You can also work from a blank canvas if you are brave. Acrylic paint dries quickly. You can use a hair dryer to dry it more quickly.
I will walk you through all the steps during our class.
**Note - You must provide a valid e-mail address to receive the Zoom link for this meeting.
