The Registry is a free job referral service linking
individuals seeking independent employment to people who need care in
their home. Offers work in areas of: elder companion,
housekeeper, cook, personal care aide, home care aide, CNA, LPN, RN.
How it works:
- Call WOC to set up an appointment to discuss work type(s)
best for you and job availability.
- We’ll check your references and add your name to our list of
caregivers.
- When we receive a request which matches your skills we pass
along your name.
- The employer then contacts you for an interview and to
negotiate terms of employment.
If you need assistance at home, please call 277-7686 and talk
with the Registry staff. You will be provided with several names of
individuals who may be able to assist you. We prescreen and check
references for all caregivers. You call, interview and negotiate the
specific terms with the caregiver you hire.
