Discovering Your Computer—The XP Operating System

      2 Sessions     10:00—12:00 PM     Wed 2/6 and Thurs 2/7

      Designed for first time computer users, learn the basics of the Windows XP operating system including common terminology, how to use tool bars, customizing your computer to suit your needs, getting to know the keyboard, file management and more.

5 Sessions     10:00—12:00 PM     Mon 2/11, Tue 2/12, Wed 2/13, Thu 2/14, Fri 2/15

With this class you will master the basics of Word Processing.  You will learn about formatting, editing, document layout, inserting images, and headers and footers.  XP is a prerequisite.

 

       Internet I—Introduction to the  Internet

1 Session        10:00 - Noon               Wednesday 2/20
With this class you will master the ins and outs of the Internet.  You will learn how to efficiently create & manage your favorites and your e-mail.

All workshops are at no cost to qualifying participants, but space is limited and registration is required.
